I joined the group in 2007. I hadn’t done any drawing or painting since college, which was a long, long time ago! I had never done any painting on canvas in my life, so joinging the group gave me the opportunity to learn something I had always wanted to do. Since joining the group I have learnt so much about techniques, brushes and paints.

I paint with oils as this is my favourite medium. When I joined the group I found it to be very friendly and welcoming. The time seems to go so fast on a Tuesday evening that when I leave I can’t wait for it to be a Tuesday again!!
